Dont take this the wrong way, but why are you not asking the service tech that is doing the work? I am also waiting on my bike to come back from the shop on a 95" stage 2 upgrade. I spent about 2-3 hours with the tech that would be doing the work, asking about how different elements in the package go and work together, and if anything outside the boxed package would work better.
My advice would be to talk with the tech, they should be very helpful in explaining whats what, I mean you are paying for the service, right.

good luck

Mike

if it were mine,i would put in a set of gear drive cams, and do away with the tensioner setup.then you would never have to worry about the tensioners again.

I don't know, those GearDrive Cams are spendy and it's not as simple as just the Cams.... I hear the new tensioners are better...different matierial that runing synthetic and the should go a 50K or so at least that's what I've been told...anyone else hear that?

Bottom line: you got a halfass, overpriced basic dealer download build. Take your price/parts list back to your friendly/honest dealer for questions!

If you're getting the new tensioners, why is he charging you for the old ones?
The numbers you listed are old style tensioners and look nothing like the new.

Those tensioner numbers look right to me for an '05 TC. (PRE-07)
Just referring to the -99A suffix, BTW.
