Default Front end wobble at around 40

I get this wobble when I let go of the bars.

Also the bike pulls to the right.

The bike is an 89 FLHS.

Any ideas?
Mike

Jack up the bike with the front wheel off the ground, turn the bars from stop to stop and see if you feel any dragging, notching or extreme looseness any where in it. More than likely you need new steering head bearings. It could be something else but that's where I would start.
Good luck.

I'd start with checking air pressure first.... but steering head bearings is most likely

I had this problem before with a wideglide & it was 3 spokes loose in the rear wheel.

Rear spokes would be the first thing I check also.

If you have laced wheels (spokes) definitely have them trued. I caught a vicious wobble when I would let off the throttle. Was rear wheel out of true. Easy fix.

When my 86 FLHT did that, it was neck bearings loose.

+1 on the loose rear spokes. I had it happen to me as well. When I rolled off the throttle the front end would shake all the way down the road. Take an allen wrench and ping the spokes. You will know quickly which ones are loose.
