Earlier in the post I advised ALL special edition bikes are tagged as a Shrine for inventory purposes.
I was sent a certificate of origin. On that document I wanted it to say Peace Officer Special. My dealer went to a Harley meeting and they agreed to change future certificates to read "police" as there wasn't enough room for more characters.

Anymore questions let me know here or PM me.

Hopefully HD will just mark them POLICE-FIRE-SHRINER.

You'd think it would be a no brainer!

How come you didn't get the fire engine red?

Just wanted to be a little different and when I saw the red and gold pinstripes it sold me! I guess a black Harley is not really different HUH?

I saw in the classified section of this forum a person selling a qt set up of White Gold Pearl at a significant savings.
I am an Elk. B.P.O.E but have many friends that are Shriners.
Good luck.

If you get a Shriner edition bike, don't you have to wear one of those silly looking hats?

BTW, neighbor has an 03 Anniversary, Peace Officer, Shriner, Gold Key, you name it edition or so he says. When I look at it, it just looks like every other black Ultra to me.

Hello to all,

Shriners, Firemen, and Law Enforcement folks are eligible for a discount on special ordered Harleys (specific models) at PARTICIPATING HD dealers. Some dealers are willing to special order a new HD under the program, while others won't. It's really a win/win for dealers. The cycles are "plus" sales for them as they are allocated to dealers outside of their normal availability. To the best of my knowledge, HD also "spiffs" the dealers to handle these sales thereby enabling them to enjoy the same profit as selling a cycle at MSRP to the general public.

When you place your order you will need ID. The dealer must submit this to HD to get the extra product and their rebate.

If you are a Shriner you are able to order White. If you are a Jester (Shrine honors organization) you are able to order Purple. Until recently those who ordered under the special programs were restricted to specific colors. Now those who qualify and order under these programs can order the special colors or any colors offered by HD.

Also note that there were specific models and years that had special emblems applied.

I personally ordered and have enjoyed owning a 2006 Jester Purple Ultra Classic. In February I traded the 2006 and special ordered a new 2009 Ultra Classic. Normally I have sold my Harleys but the dealer was very aggressive in trading for this unique and rare color.

If you are interested in my trade please call Beartooth HD in Billings, MT at 406-252-2888 and ask for Shane.

If you are not a member and want to purchase one of the special colored Harleys check with your local dealer for trades or watch ebay.

Find a Shriner that doesn't ride and get one through him. I've gotten a couple of my friends FFSE bikes with no problem.

Default 1968 Shriner Electra Glide

I have a 1968 ElectraGlide that is a shriner bike. White, full dress, lotsa wacky
chrome goodies came with it. Supposedly lower geared and a special model. This bike is fully original and may be on the market, although I love it. Any comments or interest? 28K miles and really clean, has windshield too.
Thanks
