On a two lane road, a 5ft rattlesnake crossed in front of me. Had no choice but to run over it, I thank the gods it did not lift up and strike.

A 80-100 lb boxer dog and expansion strips in Milwaukee.... Both a pain!

hit the dog straight on and he slid down the road and off the pavement. i had lower my UC and the expansion joints made my rear tire hit the fender...

Hit a deer last July. Did a little over $6000 damage to my Kawasaki Nomad, broke 6 ribs, broke collar bone and shoulder blade, partially collapsed right lung, plenty of road rash. Slept in a recliner for 6 weeks because I couldn't lay in a bed. I've had 2 shoulder surgeries and have one left to take a plate out. Just traded for an 09 Ultra Classic and I hope never to meet up with another deer!
I still love riding!

Some of the things I've avoided here include: Wild Turkey, BigHorn Sheep, Deer, Bear, Moose, Elk, Dogs, and one crazy horse. I've had to stop, swerve, speed up or some of all the above to avoid encounters with each one of the above listed critters. Oh, and a crazy pheasant that seemed attracted to the colors of my bike.... Other than that, drivers of all kind! Ride safe out there.....

I hit a deer last Oct. 11 breaks on 7 ribs on left side, front and back, road rash to right knee and lower calf, right index finger still has some soreness, I slid 150 feet so I know how you felt. I was off work 12 weeks and slept in a recliner for about 9 weeks. $11,000 damage on my 2008 Ultra, getting fixed now, and I like you hope I never hit a deer again.
