After doing a search, I can't find the answer I need, so here I go. I am ready to plunk down the cash for a Power commander but I don't know the model to get. I read on fuel moto that the PC V fits the 07 tour models as a "retrofit" and is not supported by Power Commander company, but the PC III is for my model. Is there anyone out there that has an 07 tour model with the PC V from fuel moto or anyone that went from a PCIII to a PC V on a 07 tour that can help. I currently have 2.o rush slipons and about to install a SE air cleaner once I get my PCIII or PC V?
You'll probably get a million different opinions. But if you've decided on PC then go PCV from Fuelmoto.
They warranty it for your 07.
They will map it for your 07.
Increased functionality over PC III.
Capability to add autotune to make use of the O2 bungs you already have.
Not much more coin...
Jamie shipped my PCV for $289
He shipped the autotune for $299

But, if you get the PCV through Fuelmoto they will warranty it. I believe for double the time of the Power Commander warranty. Call Jamie and ask what he has to say. He'll tell you straight what the deal is.

It's a no-brainer, IMO. I've had both PCIII and PCV-AT on my '07 SG and although the PCIII is a great device and served me faithfully I wouldn't go back. Even if you don't want AT at this time the PCV is smaller and has more features, although it probably won't make your bike run any better unless you need the extra features, which is doubtful. The important factor is the ability to add AT later if you want.
