Just got around to installing the PCiii from Jamie over at Fuel Moto, after taking the DFO off my bike, I went through the very simple procedure to install the unit. I fired the bike up in the garage (its a brisk 18 degrees outside today) and either its just been too long since i've ridden, or the difference was flat out amazing. Throttle response was great, it even sounded better. The worst part now is i probably have another month at least before i can take her out for a spin!!! Its a cruel form of torture i tell ya!
You guys with your Power Cmdr's are gonna cost me money, I can see it coming. You've convinced me to wait just a little longer until spring is closer so I can avoid the torture. I'm hoping by waiting that Jamie has all the bugs worked out of the PC V for the '07's also.
It's a foregone conclusion... now I've just got to get up off my wallet and do it!

Hey, you rode on New Years Day in 10° weather, so let's get with the program! Think of it like this, at 18° it will be 8° warmer. Seriously, I can't imagine riding in weather like that.

Bugs? I don't have no bugs. I don't have to show you no stinking bugs! (A beer for the guy who tells me what movie that slightly altered quote is from. Another beer to name the actor who said it. No Googling allowed!)
Anyway, I've had the PCV installed on my '07 for three weeks and the AT for two weeks and see no stinking bugs. Really, though, I haven't heard of any problems with the '07's. I was the first, I think, and installed it with no specific instructions for my bike. The PCV was PNP, but the AT took some time and a bit of decision-making as to where to stuff everything. I understand Jamie is including some instructions for "retrofit kits," so that should take some of the intrigue out of the install.
The wife and I left from NC to Orlando a few days before Christmas on the scoot. 26 when we left the house and not over 40 the whole first day! We shoved hand warmers in places I didn't know we had!
Depending on the dealer...anything could void the warranty. Thank God they don't have the final say. There are laws. They have to prove that the mod you made caused the failure of a component to deny warranty.
Has anyone ever been denied warranty service for a efi tuner? Or is this just what the dealers/service likes to tell you to get you to buy their stuff?

What you said.
I also have never heard of anyone whose been denied warranty coverage for installing an EFI controller.
