Posted in electrical section but I know a lot the touring guys have this system also. Riding today and started running rough and die at idle , Got worse. Finnally made it home and checked the TPS and it was way high. If you're familar with the DTT the TPS is set a .04 . This was all the way at the top of the chart and the throttle position was at 100 %. I tried to move the sensor and it would not change at all. Bad TPS? or is there something else to look for? Is there a way tocheck the TPS first.
Thanks
TIm
In the beginning of your message, I was kinda thinking IAC adjustment, but when ya said the TPS voltage was off the scale & would not adjust... I had to agree with your assessment.
Ya know, Chris will tell ya those things need to be replaced every couple years ~ at least for the TCFI-x bikes.
Be sure you used flat washers over the enlarged holes & "loctited" the screws.
