Anyone try the new Castrol Edge yet? Currently using Mobil One V-Twin in all three holes.

Mobil 1 = Top of the line right up there with AMSOIL


Castrol = Slugging it out at the doorstep as a mediocre oil at best


Think of Mobil 1 like a Cadillac
Then Castrol would be a Chevette

Stick with Mobil 1

opinions are like a-holes, everybody has one, but I have never been a fan of Castrol-anything. I run mobil 1 in my truck and my wife's suv and amsoil in our bikes.

Let me put it this way... I am a mechanic for the parent company of Castrol. We use a castrol synthetic blend in our compressor engines and it is crap. Would never think of using it in anything I own. Mobil blows away any of Castrol's products.

Valvoline is also touting their new synthetic as having "8 times better wear protection than Mobil 1."

When you are at the top, everyone takes pot shots at you.

AMSOIL in all three holes and my cars with the 25 ,000 oil or 1 year oil changes

save me about $800.00 a year i have 4 cages also the sevear gear in the tranny

of my scooter makes it shift smooth-ride safe
