Hey all I'm planning a ride to MO from Illinois this upcoming May, I know that MO has a helmet law, and I currently dont own one, and honestly dont care for them, but if its the law its the law... any ideas where I can get a light weight, cool looking helmet... I dont honestly even car if it is a legal helmet, I just want something that will keep the law off of me... Thanks...
PS I have a large head, probably 7 1/2 or maybe larger...

Just Google Novelty Helmets. Lots of choices. Leatherup.com has them for $29. You can make an authentic looking DOT sticker on your computer, stick it on back, and then put some clear nail polish on the sticker it so it will stay looking good.
BTW, wearing a REAL DOT helmet is a REAL good idea. But having a state law that forces an adult to wear ANY helmet, absolutely sucks.
I own property in Missouri (live in Illinois) and I hate the helmet law as much as you. I will tell you that if you get caught with a novelty helmet, the fine will be large.
I have heard great things about carbonfiberhelmets.com and plan on spending some money with them before I ride down there this year.
