I have them on my 08 Ultra, about 6,000 miles now. They have a nice idle sound, and you can take off from a light without blowing away the cop behind you with too loud of a sound. However, when you crank the throttle far, they liven up.

I have no problem hearing my radio or my wife at highway speeds over the pipes. I experimented with a number of different pipes, and these sound just right.

My best bud has the Basics and they sound good. However, if you want just a "tich" quieter with a good low HD sound I recommend the SuperTrapp SE's. Baffles are metal and will never need re-wrapping.
