Neither did I. It was 1 degree when I left the house for the shop today, reached a high of 17, wind chills were right at zero all day.

I work outside. Got a nice case of windburn. Face still feels like it's on fire.

Plus we have so much salt on the roads that when you drive you raise dust clouds like yer drivin' on gravel.

On a high note, my Fuel Moto power package was delivered yesterday. Sadly, it's 30 degrees in the garage and I sorta lost my enthusiasm to do more work in the cold this evening. I did, however, unwrap one of the Jackpot dyno-tuned mufflers and held it in my hand. It sure is pretty. I imagined nice Harley sounds coming out of it, but only for a minute or two as I wasn't wearing gloves, my hand got cold and I didn't wanna drop and ding a virgin chuck of chrome. Back into it's bubble-wrap cocoon it went.

Oh well, perhaps tomorrow or the next day. It's supposed to be 3 degrees at designated work starting time tomorrow A.M.

But hey, it's supposed to get up to near 50 on Saturday! But rain is expected as well. And for the next three days after that.

PBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

You don't have to tell me about the wonderful climate changes in. I will be leaving snowy Denver(70 degrees Friday) to come visit the tropical island of Captiva(59 degrees). Now who do you think is getting screwed!

I reside in Detroit with the auto industry. I know all about the cold, crap economy and unemployment rates and not riding for 5-6 months out of the year. Good luck topping Michigans sob story! Time to retire south yet? BTW how to southerners feel about "snow birds" moving south now days? It it still not liked my the locals...Tenn, SC, Kent, ect?
