I have one on mine, and it is there for protection. I take it off every two to three weeks and re-wax it just to make sure it has not been rubbing on anything.

looks good -- not for me though- -I prefer the clean look - - one tank bra is not bad- - -but - - I've seen an electra with the batwing, saddlebag tops, and tank bra at the same time- - looked like he was trying to go stealth or something --

Once the bra liner gets dusty, you might get even more scratches. Looks like a dust scoop! Personally, I do not care for fairing, tank or lid bras. HEK, I don't like bras on ANYTHING, just a waste of good material. Keep it polished up real nice and use Scratch Doctor.

I would put that 3M clear protective film on if you think the scratches will continue.

I had one on my vrod and have one on order fro my RK I find my pants leg rubs the lower corners of the tank and no amount of wax will keep it from scraching. I don't really like the looks but I like scraches even less.
