I ride a 2000 Road King and have been experiencing some minor fuel gauge problems. Once in a while (especially when the level gets to the point where the annoying light comes on). After I fill up, it takes a while for the gauge to register and the low fuel light goes out. That damn light is very distracting! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You probably need to look in the tank and make sure the float does not have anything blocking it...like the pump screen or one of the fuel lines floating around.
