My wife slept half the way back from Orlando to New Bern, NC. Every time I'd hit the bakes her helmet would clank into mine...never had a problem with her slipping or upsetting the balance of the bike...just funny as hell.
my wife has never gone to sleep on the back. She is to busy running the camera or just looking around and enjoying the ride. Now if we get in a car that is a hole different story, she is out like a light.

She did fall asleep on the back of the Road King once. I felt faceshield in middle of my back and about 10 miles or so later, felt her jerk when she woke up.
I remember my son falling asleep on the back of my RKC a couple of times, and that scared the hell out of me! He was only 8 or 9 at the time. I had a backrest, but it still worried me. Now when he rides with me I'm constantly squeezing his knee to make sure he's awake. My wife has never fallen asleep on the back of any of my bikes.
