Awesome story and ain't fun dealing with those gusty winds especially the Fat Boy's solid rims where riders feel like they're being tossed all over the road. I've ridden my buddy's and say Whoa !...These rims needs to go. Good enough, He swapped for the Custom Chrome Styling Spoke rims.

All the BBQ talk on here...Not a word about Salt Lick nearby Austin, TX. Been there 3 times and love their food. Guess I'll have to put Lockhart and BBQ together on my list the very next time I go down TX.

In the wind,

Thorey

The guys seem to dig it (and the bikes). The women seem to have this "you go girl" attitude. Probably secretly wishing they had the guts to give it a shot.
I think that sums it up well. Guys do think that a female on a motorcycle is HOT!

Congrats on making the trip and the memories that will last forever. Now, go take another trip and come back and tell us about it.

I just read your trip notes. Glad to see more women on bikes. I have one long time friend from High School that I taught to ride at 13. She still rides today but lives to far for us to get together. But we swap stories. Don't let them tease you about packing. I have been known to over pack for my annual Colorado trip. The guys I ride with pack these little tank bags for the whole week. I can't see how.

I hear there is a ride someone in Texas called the 'Three Sisters', I'm hoping to get down that way soon.

Take care, enjoy the road !
