My buddy always says that no one will mess with anything on the bikes. I still don't trust it and try to lock everything up or park where I can see the bike.
I try to keep the honest people honest. I know if someone is really determined, they will get what they want.

Go to Sturgis every year and nothing has been taken yet(knock on wood). I'll tell you what though, it is always in the back of my mind. You would have to be one brave S.O.B. to take something off another persons bike!

Not yet, but I haven't traveled overnight and stayed at a hotel yet. I rode my '03 RKC to the 100th and had no troubles, and rode my '07 SG to the 105th this summer without issue. But I'm a little worried about having to leave the bike outside in a hotel parking lot...guess I'll find out this summer if that'll be an issue when we ride the Dragon.

I always remove all my detacheables, lock the saddlebags, lock the fork lock, and I leave the seat in place. Some of the members of my group even bring their seats into the hotel room with them. Never had anything stolen yet but I'm not about to give anyone the opportunity while I can prevent some of it. JMHO

I once had a blonde steal my decency for about 2 hours, I wish I could find her again.

Do you think if you find her you'll get it back?
Or let her take it again?
