Nope but had my antenna torn off a couple of times. Now use an ugly Radio Shack rubber one that no one so far has even looked at. Probably go to one of those one that stick on under your fairing.

Had a drunk walk into the back of the bike scratching the box. He ran away like a gazelle on speed when I went after him. Never seen anyone get their ankles up to their ears running before.

One guy I already discussed somewhere here in cyberspace, sat on my bike with attitude and made the news.

The Border yanked a buddies RK apart and someone ripped off his tool kit when we were with him. He was okay with it though as they stripped searched him and did the rubber glove thing. He goes back every year now for a checkup. ,

Wifes grandfather had his Electraglide taken from the driveway when he came home and had dinner before he went back out to wash it. Came out just in time to see the truck drive off with it. Was locked.

Nope, never had a problem but i'm selective as best I can be as to where/when I park my bike. But actually I've never had a problem even when hanging my half helmet on handlebars (wouldn't do that with my Shoei FF though, lol).

Years ago, (probably about 1980), had a POS helmet taken off my bike at a football game.

The only problem i have is people keep trying to sit on my bikes. I don't know how many times i pop a blood vessel when i see this. Before i can get to them they usually see how pissed i am and leave. It does help to have my 6 riding friends running towards them with me.

I leave sunglasses and my helmet on my bike all the time. Never had a problem. I would be surprised if they were stolen.

Back in '81 had a jacket and gloves ripped from my sissybar at the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City Az. My club brother saw kids freak in an old car when he walked out of the bar to check the bikes. They had to push start the car, but my bro didn't notice the missing jacket & gloves. When we walked out to leave, I did notice. We cruised the town looking for that car. The cops noticed two out of state patchholders cruising and wanted to know why. I told them why, promised to not use too much force, and even gave them my name, address, and phone number, along with the description of the car. We didn't find the car and went on to California.

About a month later I was home in Colorado when those Lake Havasu cops called. They mailed back my 6 week old leather and gloves. That's the only time in my life that I talked to a cop and had something good happen. I sent a thank you note. I didn't notice any donut shops in Havasu.

Last year a group of us were out riding and stopped in at our usual cafe for lunch. When we were about to leave, my buddy notices his helmet is missing. (a custom painted skid lid) About the time he starts cussing up a storm, the local police (also a riding buddy of ours) pulls into the parking lot with some kid in the back seat carying a "custom painted skid lid" The officer, (our buddy) says he has to go out on a call and could we see to it that this young man finds his way home. The police car pulls out of the parking lot, this kid is looking at 5 burly bikers walking twords him. Not saying a word, my buddy reaches out and get's his helmet back, the kid is shaking like a leaf and pisses himself. We saddle up and ride away. We still get a kick out of thinking bout that punk kid standing there in a puddle of ****, hoping that he learned a valuable lesson.

Nothing yet. I make it a habit to put things away and lock stuff up. I picked up a mini size coated cable and if I don't have enough room in the bags, I slip the cable thru the sleeve and attach it to the helmet lock.
