Good for you for getting back on that horse... It's better to do it sooner as opposed to later after a crash...
I can relate on what you went through after I crashed my KZ1000 into a drunk driver on a road trip back in the early eighties... It took me almost a year to get back onto a bike but I did where it did get better after some miles clicked by...
I am glad to hear that you were able to enjoy the ride. That's a good looking scoot you've got there! I think that it is great that you got back in the saddle.
So happy to see you're back in the saddle. My crash was 11-10-08 and it took a month to get my new bike (my bike was totalled by a rear-ender on the freeway) after the insurance company settled with me on the loss of the bike.
I remember it felt so good to get back in the game (now I watch my rear-view mirrors even more than I used to, lol). You learn from these experiences and they make you a better rider.
Glad you overcame your fears and start riding at your own pace. Once you've build up your confidence again...You'll do great. Just keep your eyes peeled and wide open from now and on.
Congrats on getting back in the Saddle was about a year ago after went down to avoid hitting someone and 6 weeks down due to a broken leg, when the Indy called me and said your Bike is ready should I deliver it .. Told him be right there to pick it up.. Rode it out and still riding since..
