My OEM ball/cuff joint linkage failed recently. I tied it together with cloth and finished the ride.
Came home and ordered a $7 ebay heim joint kit; re-used the OEM rod. Took fifteen minutes to do the change. Best $7 I've spent in a long time - shifting is much more positive.
