09 Street Glide & Tall Rider Problem

Can i get some pics from the setting position? I am getting a 2010 sg.but dont like the bars. i love the heritage bar position. are the tallboy bars close to them? the sg seams like they are a lot lower than heritage. Thanks kevin

Not sure it will work for anyone else, but I have stock seat/bars on my '09 streetglide. As mentioned earlier in this post, I was considering the effects of adjusting the handlebars up a bit to give me more leg room. I went ahead and did that before starting the seat/bar roulette game that alot of us seem to play. So far it works great for me. No more knee knocking the bars when making slow sharp turns, and I feel like I'm riding in a more straight up/upright position. I've only had the opportunity to put on a few miles. Looking forward to seeing how I feel after a long ride.

I'm 6'5" and have an 08 SG. Expect to spend lots of $ to get it suited to you. I have changed out the seat to the tallrider and had it reworked. Changed out handlebars, added 9" clearview windshield, added the Soos floorboard extenders, adjustable highway pegs and extended the brake lever and shifter. Fits me like a glove now and wouldn't take anything for it.
