I agree spokes would probably look better, but I bought the bike to tour on and spokes don;t work for me... I can patch a tubeless tire on the road and make it to a dealer, spokes and you're on the tow truck...
Actually the 09 wheels that someone here had chromed seem to cover both worlds, the look kinda like spokes but are cast, I think they looked pretty damn good and you can patch on the road and go.....
