HEH,HEH......Hey, them danged factory bolts corrode too easy!..They really do.

All us us who turn our own wrenches eventually learn to replace the factory bolts with stainless. We usually do that whenever we destroy the old bolt trying to get it out/off....It's a motivator fersure to upgrade to stainless, but a stripped bolt on a Harley doesn't mean we ain't capable.

I went out and checked mine over you have two choices you can have a small bolt spot welded to the Allen bolt then fit a socket and unscrew. The main fuse should be pulled and battery disconnected to save the ECM before welding. Or drill the Allen bolt out with a brand new drill bit hopefully its mild steel

Well, I've solved the issue...

I simply removed the entire toe/heel shift levers including shaft...would have been easier to do in the first place...overall, not a whole lot of money to replace.

Now, on to the primary cover.

Thanks everyone!

Drill and get a easyout! Do not hit that thing with anything unless you have plenty of money to fix what you bend and strip.

You might be able to get a small easy out that will fit into the head of the allen bolt and grab it without having to drill anything out, try that first.

For allen heads that get striped, take a torx head socket and beat it in the striped out allen head with a hammer, then use a ratchet with an extension to get it out. (make sure your tools have life time guarantee before attempting this though)

You might try using a Dremel tool or Craftsman rotary tool with a thin cutting wheel to cut the bolt through the clamping split line in the shifter lever. You'll probably have to turn the bolt to cut all the way thorugh it, and the cut will widen the split line of the shifter but who cares?
