I was reading the most recent Baggers magazine and saw a Road King with an iPod mounted right in front of the seat...mounted on the botton of the gas tank where it meets with the seat.
Anybody know who sells it or is it a home made adapter?
I constructed a home made mount by using a piece of polished aluminium (2.75" W X 4" L), covered with a piece of velcro (2.75" W X 4" L), that is drilled and attached by screw/washer located on the console nearest the seat. It's easy to make and works very well.

Can you post a pic? Are you using speakers or earbuds?

The problem is that the 08 doesn't have the screw to put it on. The bike on the magazine is an 08. Here's a picture I scanned off the magazine.
I'm interested in this too. So far I'm using ear buds under my FF helmet and that works fine. Would be interested in trying the Kury speaker set that mounts on the bars but would like to hear from those who have them as to sound quality, etc. An iPod can be plugged into them and very compact and look good.
