Just how critical is initial Thundermax base map?
I ain't installed it yet..........Been reading up on it on various forums.....seems we need to install a base map pretty close to final tune for it to do decent job.
I've looked at all the published/provided maps and don't see any close to my setup, so I'm wondering where to start and how well the T-max will do if initial map is too far off what's required.
I've got a stock '96 but added straight fishtails with torque cones and a SE heavy breather air cleaner....After dyno tune with PCIII, it runs terrible at cruise, but rips **** at wide open throttle.
I'm hoping the T-max will fix it, but concerned what map to start with.
