Default Crank sensor

Does anyone know which is the positive and negative side of the connector at the crank sensor? I'm wiring it up and not sure which is which on the sensor side of the connector. The motor is out of an 06 Ultra.

Not sure about the 06, But I just checked the electrical manual for my 09 and the red is positive and the black is negative. Says Black goes in position 2 and Red goes in position 1. Not sure if those positions are marked on the sensor or not but sometimes they are. Hopefully that hepls.

Thanks I know the colors, but, my new connector from HD isn't marked with a 1 or 2. Inside the connector there are the 2 pins and a plastic locating pin below one of them. Would you happen to know which one is above that plastic pin?

All I can see in the wiring diagrams is like this...

Holding the Crank Position sensor with the mounting hole up and the terminals toward you...Black on right, Red on left.

This is from the wiring diagram...not from a good picture of the terminal itself. It should work.

OK, mounting hole up, so that would mean the connector lock is on the bottom correct???
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Not sure about the connector lock as it isn't pictured in the diagram. But if you are holding the mounting hole straight up with the terminals facing you then the diagram shows black on right. Hope this works out for ya.
