Someone on another thread installed a Radio Shack switch on his fairing to the left of the speedo. This switch was cosmetically close to the HD fairing-cap switches and fit in, but I'm not a fan of drilling any part of the bike, so that would not be my first choice. Once you drill you're locked in to that location and can't go back unless you want a hole in the fairing.
