Keep in mind these windshields are equivilent to a standard shaped windshield that is 3"s shorter, i.e., the 9" is really a 6" shield. It doesn't surprise me that it didn't work for the user in the earlier post.
Actually, my 6" shield from Road6Customs does better for me than the CeeBaileys shield does. Not sure why...less wind noise, buffeting still there, just different and not as bad.
Well, test rode my new Cee Bailey's 13" Dark Grey shield to Daytona this past weekend and it passed the test. It really did well. I really like the looks of it too !!! I would recommend them to anyone.
I'm 5'7" and ordered a 9" dark tint last week. I'm getting antsy waiting. Gonna post pics and report when it comes in. Under $100 with shiping included. Too cool!
Odie,
Let me know how that windshield works out for you.

Just got the 9" today bro. I installed it and went for a test ride. My first impression I was a little let down. The reason was I had wind hitting me right in the forehead and everyonce in a while my goggles would bounce around. However please keep in mind it was very windy here in Arizona today, very, very gusty. After a bit I started to like the SSC. There did seem to be a little bit of an air pocket when the air was not gusting like a bastage. Cee Baily rep told me that the top of the windshield shoud be even with my mouth which it is. I have great visibility too. Keep in mind also that I have been riding with a stock 12" shield for the last 4 months. I won't have a fair assessment until I do a ride or two more in different conditions. Here's a couple of pics.

Now that I've had more ride time with mine I am beginning to like it a little more. Like you pointed out, if it is windy (which it has been here for previous rides) then I dont care for it. When it is calm and I am doing under 70 I like it. Wife still doesn't like it, but I do.
Got my 12" SSC and thus far very pleased with it. I had a 8" Half Moon prior, and I've gotten much better results with the SSC so far. Hadn't taken a long ride yet, but buffeting was reduced dramatically, and overall the air was much smoother. I'm 5' 9", and the wind is hitting across the top of my helmet. Even my light weight rimless glass didn't bounce around!
Only draw back is the vibration of the shield itself. It does vibrate some at low rpms and idle, but that's due to the shield laying back. Taller you go, the worse it is. Really didn't bother me....

Good riding!
I know what you mean about the windshield vibration. I don't like it too much either but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'm picking up some Raybans tomorrow and I'm curious how the ride will be since they don't seal like my goggles. It's gonna get hot here in the AZ so I need air flow. It's been 90 the last few days....
