was in the local dealership today and got to see an ultra classic done up in the "root beer" color scheme.....2 toned and done up in pearl....................
just frickin gorgous................guy said it's one of those paint jobs that only come out for 3 months.................then it's gone....................
didn't really move me on the Heritage I saw but just pops on the ultra...............
anyone looking for a special paint on an ultra go take a look............
I saw that too, and I was blown away! I would even go as far to say I wish that were the anniversary color combo, sorry but that was my first thougt. I would also have to agree that I saw that color combo on a softail, and didnt look as sharp as it did on the baggers!!!
What a color!
Light Candy Rootbeer/ Dark Candy Rootbeer. It's a very nice color. I prefer the Black Ice/ Blue Ice or the Big Purple Flake/ Brilliant Silver more. The rootbeer pearls are very nice.
I agree it is a beautiful color combo. And I really don't like brown. Haven't seen the Big Purple Flake/Brilliant Silver yet but I believe HD has three winners in the custom paint program this year. Previous years there has always been an ugly one or two. Funny thing my local dealer didn't order any Rootbeer Ultras and only two Rootbeer Street Glides (one for each dealership). Whoever orders didn't think the color would be in demand. Someone really dropped the ball on that one.
