My 1985 flht needs the starter gear replaced .. I got one and i bought a Clymer manual for 84-91 but the dam starters they show have a regular bolt on the end of the starter shaft. Mine has just two flat spots for a wrench. How is this taken off ? I tried a rubber strap wrench but it dont hold the dam thing so i can turn the end ..

Please help, i got it apart now and i will wait for your reply..
