sorry typo'
Here is my setup ...Ram mount and a plug in the inner fairing .. Works great and allows adjustment from bright sun and is right at fingertips ... also allows quick 2 second removal when parking the bike. It does leave the ball mount on the switch housing when not installed but the ease of use outweights the ball when its off the bike.
I also put pics of my Sirius radio on the glove box door. If it rains I put the sat radio in the pouch ... ride safe

this is with the gps unplugged and the waterproof cap in place

The sat radio wiring goes up through the fairing and plugs in to the factory cig lighter and the antenna is on top of the dash pad with the wiring under the fairing

This is what I was trying to post

no cup holder on this thing? and you call that a dash.....

Brunswickoh,
Where did you get the cabon fiber stereo plate, the only ones I've seen are the silver ones. That looks very clean.

I bought a inner fairing and was going to have it painted for my 07 but never got around to it. How long does it take to swap out all the gauges etc? I have had the ignition out a few times and put in the oil temp gauge and HogTunes speakers in the fairing so I know my way around in there.

Also the inner was changed in 08 correct? What's different about the new ones?

TIA
