Lots of great choices out there. I use an Ortlieb waterproof duffle on the luggage rack of my tour-pak. It is absolutely waterproof, not very expensive, and most importantly very light. I had a bag from Kury that was of good quality, but the thing weighed about five pounds, which limits its utility since the luggage rack has a fairly low load limit. You can see the Ortlieb line at Tourtech's website. Here's a pic of the 24 inch model mounted on my bike, carrying my tent, mattress, and sleeping bag.

Pastor John, what model duffel do you have? I'm having a hard time finding it. It looks like it would fit the bill for me. Thanks - Heeler.

I really like both my Saddlemen custom seat, AND the luggage they offer. I think the studded bags really make the back of the bike 'pop.' IMO

Default T-Bags

I got this as a Christmas present a few years back. It's awesome.

I have the one that comes with a roll - which you can strap to the rack by itself. It's perfect for a one-nighter.

Most HD stealers sell it - so go online, and get your 20 off.

Hard to beat the Kury Ultra Tour for versatility. Just added the Lid Haulers for our sleeping bags.

Hows the quality of the Kury bags? I am considering one myself. Either the "Full Dresser bag" shown here, or the "Ultra Tour" bag. Are they waterproof? How durable are the zippers and hold down straps etc?

Six of us in our group have the Ultra Tour bag, one the Grand Tour. All seams are sealed. Very good quality material and sturdy zips. The bags come with a rain cover. The Ultra Tour is almost flat on top so you can add another bag if neccessary. They have plenty of 'D' rings for tying down and tying things on.

Does the "Ultra" work well on a back seat in between the wings of the tour pack pad?

I've the full dresser for about 2 years and it's holding up great. Packs 4-5 days worth for the woman and me, plenty of pockets for crap, velco strap around pass backrest plus 4 tie down straps. Pops off/on in about 30 sec. Hard plst case with shelves inside to split into two compartments. Top collapses when not used, has two heavy straps, good for tying down jackets when not wearing or a tent. Sealed zippers and a rain bag pullover come with it for the downpours. It's on the back in my sig pic.

I currently use a T-Bags Route 66. I've had a few others, this is the best so far. The feature I like most is the luggage wheels and handle. Pull it off, throw your other gear on top, and wheel it all in at once. Access to whats inside w/o unpacking everything is a consideration too, as are useable exterior pockets. I believe Baggers magazine has an article on bags right now too. Some of them look pretty good.
