where to start, all boils down to what you need and want, are you solo or 2 up? SG is lower by 1", more chrome, rear pegs no boards, narrow pass seat, no tour pack or back rest. is radio important? best value new is still the e/glide standard if you can due without radio and dont mind the gray motor. if your choice is only between sg and e/glide classic, i would go sg if solo and classic if 2 up. resale on the s/g will be higher in the future

If that were true, then you wouldn't be allowed to ride any more!

I think EGC is a better deal, always cheaper to take off, then add on.

Out1aw,
Good looking bike - I'm sure you are keeping her as well - My vote - Go with the Ultra and then you have even more choices -
Good luck -

Thanks for all the feedback.

I like the SG better but the first thing I wouldwant to add would be the tour pack. Seems stupid to pay 1000+ you didn't have to for a tour pack. EGC comes with the whole thing.

Not sure I will be able to keep the Lowrider unless I could get my wife to ride.... hmm have to work on that one.

At least you shouldn't have to worry about it being stolen.

I'd get the EGC. Better seat, better lights, better shocks, passenger floorboards and a Tour-pak (which you can make detachable). But then I'm into touring practicality more than looks.

That said, if it was my money and I wanted a bagger with a fairing, I'd get the Road Glide.

I'd go with the Classic and get the detachable tourpak if you thought you wouldn't want it on all the time.
