Then MOCO would lose money from selling upgrades, dealers would lose money from not chargeing labor. An idea would be is making the case bottoms and the jug spigottes able to accept 4" bore with out disassbly. Doing a super bore if you will. Just a crazy idea, that is conceived as I am here at work on a Sat waiting for 2pm to come.

I'm happy with mine even with the stock cams considering the small investment I made. My total cost for the 103 Stage I kit was under $900 installed. I'm researching cams now and will install them myself. I think the cams and installation kit will cost an additional $350 or so.

Had my 103 Stage 2 put on at the time of purchase. Only rode 500 miles with the stock engine. Huge difference with even better performance and less heat once I added true duals and a power commander. Yes, I would do it again!

I had the Stage II kit (with SE 255 cams) installed after I put 2000 miles on the bike. The motor is much stronger now and doesn't feel like it is lugging any more. The increase in torque was most impressive. I used the FuelPak which had previously been installed when the bike was new. The dealer tried to tell me that the FuelPak would not work with the Stage II kit. I gave them the values off the V&H web page and they never said anything else about it. Runs perfect! Didn't have to pay for expensive dyno time either!

I have 26k miles on my '08 Road Glide with the 103" kit. Mine is the base kit (stock cams, just new jugs, pistons, and intake), but I am very pleased with the results. The build appears to be very durable, and there was a noticeable improvement in performance.

I have pondered going to a 103 stage II but have decided to wait. Anyone know how much the HQ big bore kits are - I am talking about a 107 (is there a 103 HQ?) - that is what is the installed price?

Very happy with my HD stage 1 103. I never rode it in stock 96 form but I traded a 07 FXTSB with 96 and this bike pulls way harder than the Night Train ever thought about. I am looking into cams...not cause I think I need them...but like a lot of others, I just can't stop adding stuff, especially POWER STUFF.

Looking at Woods cams and Port and Polished Heads next.

Max, I don't know about everyone else but for me the 103 has been a blast. I ride with a goldwinger from time to time and when we twist the wick he doesn't have a thing on me. That is priceless in the bike wars as far as I'm concerned!

Just got my bike back from the dealer. We worked out a deal that they would install the SE Stage II with 255 cams and he wanted to try different exhaust systems on it. He would dyno them and I would buy the the SE mufflers with the tips of my choice for 25% off and free installation. I don't have the readout scanned but he emailed it to me in PDF form. Bottom line is that the SE mufflers give nearly the same HP and Torque as the Rinehart slip-ons. The others came out lower than we expected. Here's a list of the slip-ons and the results:

Muffler.........................HP................ ..Torque
Bub 7s..........................80..................94 .22
Kuryakyn Krushers...........82.30..............94.67
Rinehart........................83.84............. ..99.48
SE Mufflers....................83.75...............99 .44
Stock Mufflers................80.68...............97.59
