This comin tuesday will be 2 weeks I did my 103, got 1000 miles on it.
It runs really good, gonna try to make a appointment with a dyno tuner Wolfgang Grasser this week and and have the map checked out and see what kind of HP and tq its puttin out.
It will give the old bagger so much power I don't know if I want anymore onit.
It will blip over 105 before I can git threw the gears and I don't even git near the rev limiter.

Got the 103 Stage II when I bought the bike and its great. Buckets of power and I left my buddy on his SG in the dust at lights.

I have the 103" Stage 2 with SE255 cams and couldn't be happier with the performance gain. My only problem is hard starting when hot. The dealer changed the starter clutch under warranty and that fixed it for a couple months but now it's doing it again.

I understand that the real fix is compression releases and now HD recommends them but doesn't provide them with the kit. I would recommend anyone doing the 103" kit install the releases at the same time since they will already have the heads off.

Others have said they fixed it by retarding the timing in the startup range but that didn't help mine.

Thanks for help guys. I've decided to pull the triger on the SE 103 kit without the cam, ride it for a while and see how I like it and give me time to decide on the next step. Then when I get the "more is better" bug again I can add the cam and head work. And maybe replace the Rineharts with a Supertrapp 2:1. Or V & H Monster Ovals. Or some paint. Or a new seat. Or start blacking it out........

Default I just spent the past two days on a Police 103

and I wasn't overly impressed. The bike was a one of our new police RoadKings. It didn't feel that much different than my personal 96"

Knowing what I know now, I'm glad I didn't spend any extra $$ to get the 103. It might be a little better with a different air filter, exhaust and a tune, but that's even more $$. I like my bike just fine. I wouldn't spend $1500 for just the 103 kit though. You asked ;-)

JMO,
Ben
