Default Winter Mods Phase II complete - Primary in and out

Well, the second and final phase of my winter mods is now complete. I had the dealer do the work because he offered to do the work for less than half what I was going to have to pay for tools needed for the job. Involved in this phase was a chrome inner primary, SE comp sprocket, VP92T on top of the clutch (in hopes of one day having a HQ build ;-), and a 30 tooth sprocket on the tranny output shaft & shorter belt going to the back wheel (from Andrews-half the cost of Baker, thanks to Shooter64).

The chrome inner speaks for itself. As for the other parts, I don't think conclusions can be drawn from one particular piece, but the sum of the parts is outstanding. No more starter knock at start up, considerably smooth power transistion from the motor, and very nice take off and go due to the change in gearing. It rides very smooth with no pulsing in almost any condition. I know it may be expensive for anyone to consider this entire mod, but man does it make a difference. Makes the bike very enjoyable to ride from a powertrain perspective.

I know some of you will ask about fuel mileage. I don't know yet, but it really doesn't appear to be a detriment. I put about 200 miles on it today. I could be wrong, but I do believe the speedo is off. From a mechanical and mathematical standpoint, this only reasons to be true. I will work on that part of it later and provide feedback. Luckily I am currently running the T-max so it will be easy to make adjustments to the speedo.

I know this is long, but I wanted to give some input on this set up as I am very pleased with it.
