09 Backrest help/advise needed

09 Backrest help/advise needed
I have just picked up a new 2009 Ultra during Daytona Bike Week. In the past, I have always replaced the stock saddles with Corbin ,etc, that came with back rests. Never really happy with the saddles. This time I am keeping the stock Harley saddle but need a back rest. Which back rest is the best, adjustable or not ??? If adjustable, where does the controller go ?? Do I have to cut the factory heat shield ?? Which back rest gives the passenger the most room ??? Thanks in advance for all replies

My new corbin for my new 09 flhx.. feels way more softer than my other corbin for my 07 fatboy. So in saying you were not satisfied with other corbins, guessing previous years, I'll chime in and say I am more satisfied with this corbin than others.
