But one thing about cases like this boggle my mind. What makes co-workers call the police when someone doesn't show up for work??? You hear it on the news all the time. Co-workers called police when so and so failed to show up for work. I have never worked anywhere that police were called when someone didn't call or show up for work.
Why is the cop not a suspect? He was a "live in" and they broke up two months ago and now she has a new boyfriend. This is how investigations go off track, evidence disappears and cover up's happen..
Cop or not, the ex needs to be a suspect first and foremost. Another agency (FBI) should be brought in immedietely because the local departments cannot and will not police their own. Happens time and time again. The fact that she is missing only a day or so and they are already stating that the ex is not a suspect stinks already BIG TIME!
