But one thing about cases like this boggle my mind. What makes co-workers call the police when someone doesn't show up for work??? You hear it on the news all the time. Co-workers called police when so and so failed to show up for work. I have never worked anywhere that police were called when someone didn't call or show up for work.
I agree completely. Almost makes you think that maybe there was already some hint of danger for her that her coworkers were aware of.
It seems somewhat premature for the authorities to have said the former boyfriend, a deputy, is not a suspect. Anyone with a possible emotional or romantic attachment to her should be a suspect at this point.
