V&H True Duals was the best mod made Bar none .. Most do Mods for Looks, Sound, and performance got all 3 with this Mod ... next step Monster Ovals to replace the Pythons slips although not bad as it is...
I went with Rinehart true duals. The look and sound great. Heat is gone!
Also have SE/AC and a SERT
I could not be happier. No more jerking on down shift..runs like a Harley should!
for the price I just ordered the fullsacs. and I'll let yall know how it goes
The fullsac will do fine..I have it on mine, it sounds good but i had to rejet my carb to make it run right, so you might have to look at the fuel managment pack of your choice to get the motor breathing correct.
Well you can see what I did to my 08 Ultra, but I recamend the quiet baffles if you go this route. The baffles that came with the V&H Big Shot Duals gave me a splitting headache. There was just a high pitch sound they made so I made the change, you still have the sound of the pipes but without that I pitch to it.
I have had the Rinehart True Duals on my bike for about a month or so now. I got the pcV-stg 1 ac combo from Fuel Moto and that has really made a difference on how much cooler the bike runs. The Rineharts Sound good and look very nice, they just aren't as loud as I had hoped. Sitting at idle its not a whole lot louder than my stock exhaust, and cruising its about the same but when you feel like gettin on the throttle they sound bad a$$. I got my Rineharts in the classified section now for sale and am thinkin about goin with a Fatcat 2-1.
Anyone ever do Jackpot duals? I am ordering the dyno tunned package but one day may go to duals. Talked to Jamie and he said that was fine and he recommends the Rush headers and I would just have to oreder another baffel for the left side and he would also provide the new map.
Hey roxnatwist...looks like we have the same setup. I ordered a set of V&H Dresser Duals that will be here Wednesday! I have my Hog prepped and mapped ready to bolt them babies on by Thursday morning, I CAN'T WAIT!!! Please go ahead and express more on this set up to feed my hunger. FYIThis is not a hijack of this thread
Any mapping advice on this set up?
Thinking of going to the TD's and would end up with the same set up as both of you.
I haven't had the luck with my mapping on my RK, like I did with my Dyna, can't seem to find the "sweet spot".
I know, I need to break down and have it dyno'd, but one step at a time.
