Default break Switch?

I changed my grips and the break light switch will not stay engaged, any suggestions?

You broke the tab. Seen it happen quite a few times. I'm sure your dealer has a few switches in stock.

Yep. Been there, done that. Did you put the cardboard in to protect the switch when you removed the right-side switch housing? (fyi - the end of a cable tie works just as well). I was overly confident in my abilities and broke the switch last year. Sounds like you did the same thing.

No intent to "hi-jack" this thread, nor any intent to be sarcastic, but how does the brake switch break?

The plastic nub (is that a real word) breaks off when you try to put it all back together if you don't use cardboard or the big end of a cable tie as a spacer. The metal tab of the brake lever will push on the plastic end of the brake switch and sear it off... Thus breaking your brake.

Yea just replace the switch they are easy to break when you are messing with the controls.
