Question new progressive drop in lowering kit

anyone tried the new progressive drop in lowering kit for the front. if so what is the differance between it and the older style lowering kit? is the ride any different between the two? thanks

I don't believe it is a drop-in for the touring bikes.......

It's not drop in for FL model's.

on the progressive web site it shows a drop in lowering kit for all 08 flh&flt. part # 10-2003.

Yup, that's what the web site shows and they still call it a drop in because that's what you do once you have the fork disassembled far enough to "drop it in". Because of the way the touring fork is designed you cannot take the top off like on a sporty and just drop this thing in, so don't fool yourself.

I went to a seminar at J & P cycles and there was a progressive sales, and said they are drop in cut the spacer to how low you want it!!!! for the baggers!!!!

my question is, has anyone used this type of lowering kit, and is the ride any differant from the standard lowering kit from progressive?

Your ride will most likely become a bit stiffer in the front as you lose travel when lowering the front forks .

yes, they are a true drop it! ..but wait there is always a catch. Just try to expose the top of the tubes! however, they are still drop in.
