I'm wanting to get a new half helmet, DOT approved, but not one that makes your head look like a mushroom top! I've got an HCI now, but not satisfied with it. Of course, Skid Lids come to mind first, but also wondered what other riders like and how their helmets look.
For me I really do not care what it looks like as long as I have the protection. All my helmets either have graphics of our great nation (eagle, flag) or something that reflects my Father the creator. I use www.ironhorsehelmets.com
Believable selections.

Look around for the Scorpion EXO 100... Great (removable) ear curtain, half-shield flips down directly from the shell for rain, fairly light, removable top visor... Can't say enough about it.
i reluctantly tried the HD branded "rally rider" and was pleasantly surprised with its slim profile and very light weight. it was $120 but i think it was worth it. i think it is a KBC brand lit thats rebranded.
I'd like to see a pic of someone wearing a head-trip dot polo. The website only shows the ladies wearing them. The pics of the guys are the same for the dot/non dot lids.
Head trip. Most comfortable helmet ever. It is like wearing a hat. The best part is it doesn't catch the wind and make my neck hurt. Mention HD-Forum for a 10% discount.
