Hey guys
just bought myself some V&H Basics for my 09 RoadKing. I'm going to be doing the install myself. Just wondering how long it took any one else? And is there any special things to watch out for when installing these?
I used the stock clamps... entire job took about 30 minutes.
the is a 9/16 nut on the clamp and 2 1/2" bolts under the bag. undo them, wiggle, twist, etc and pull the old pipe off. put clamp on new pipe, push/wiggle/twist it on. Add your 2 bolts and tighten them up first, then tighten the clamp.
