I bought a Power Commander V from Jaime and had him map it for an Arlen Ness Big Sucker and a pair of Rinehart Slip ons. My AC and PCV are here but still waiting for the slipons. Probably still be a couple of days shipping here. My question is, can I install the AC and the PCV and take her out for a ride with my stock exhaust? Weather is going to be real nice here and want to take advantage of it.
1) shouldn't do any harm without the pipes, but you will likely run a little rich with putting on the PCV the way it is mapped from Jamie due to the restrictive stock muffs. You can try it out and see how it runs.
2) Plug the PCV into the laptop and "Get Map" then "Save Map" and create a file name for it. The go to www.powercommander.com and download a generic basemap for your bike. Load that map and ride it till you get your pipes. Then load Jamies map. Won't take you but a few minutes and you might have better results forthe time being.
