Default HD's Wind Deflectors

Do these(part no.58121-85B) cause engine temps to rise in warm weather. Should they be removed for summer riding? I like the looks of them and think they would provide some protection, but I wouldn't want to remove and replace them. My bike's a 07 with no additional fuel management, it's stock.

Had the on my road king and left them on all the time does not cause the heat to go up just helps deflect the wind away from you, I would also reccomend these too chrome front fork air deflector 58520-79TC

Had 'em on my 1996 EGC and never took 'em off. Got 'em on my 2006 and they aren't coming off either. No worries.

I installed these on my '96 RK and the improvement was major. They prevent a majority of the turbulence from swirling up from the tank. They did not hamper engine cooling on that bike, and once installed in 1998 I didn't remove them except for replacement once or twice for cosmetic reasons. Unfortunately they won't fit my '07 SG.

I put the baffle on first and it helped some.I then put the fork deflectors on. Combined there was a big difference.

Last summer I took the fork deflectors off for a few days.I put them right back on.That reminded me what a great job they do.

Deflect the cold night wind rushing between the fork tubes of your Touring model. This stylish chrome air baffle replaces the Original Equipment black baffle on '00-earlier models. Includes chrome mounting hardware.

According to the description, I take it they didn't install these from the factory past 2000?

The deflectors don't affect air flow to the motor at all so they can be left on. Once it gets hot I'll take mine off to keep me cooler though. It's just four bolts.
