Well, that shoots my theory to hell. I was thinking it might be the leanness produced by the MAP sensor when aftermarket cams have been installed.

As a work-around to the stalling problems, when it does go into EITMS mode try blipping the throttle gently before taking off. That would get it off-idle and both cylinders firing again, which might make the transition smoother.

I still am running good since adding fuel to get the AFR at idle around 13.8-14.0. I also put in a Auto Tune target AFR at 750,1000, and 1250 RPM and let the auto tune adjust the idle AFR. I then left these numbers in and put the AFR target back to 0 so it won't be on at idle now. It ran fine with the auto tune adjusting at idle, but I disabled the EITMS while it set the AFR with the auto tune. I would suggest to anyone with a problem to look at the AFR at idle with the computer connected and see if it is lean. (with auto tune only)

I had the same issue with EITMS kicking the rear cylinder out then forgetting to blip the throttle and the bike would die. I talked with Keith at Fuel Moto and he had me adjust the base map with values and watch the AFR to maintain 13.8 to 14.0. Before I started I was getting a afr of 15.5, which was why I was getting it to kick out so quickly at stop lights.

for a newbie like me.. i dont have the AT.. can a screen capture of the tables for cylinder 1 & 2 be posted so i can referance mine and see where i can make slight adjustments... Jamie sent me a new Mapp to try , but now my bike is running hotter for some reason as well as dont like to start and go is bike is cool like 65Degrees.
i may take out the PCV and try it without... i dont stumble as much in EITMS mode as before but bike still dont like me to blipp throttle - its a 50/50 chance to stall..
by seeing some tables i can compare my orginal map and revised one so i can learn where to make the adjustment and find my good spot for EITMS issue... i agree its good to have to the AT.. but its real tight on my ABS bike to fit it all in.
this is a great thread... keep up the good info...

Sounds to me like this is the solution...if you run an aftermarket tuner, disable the EITMS feature...if you want to use the EITMS, then get the Harley download instead of a tuner.

I spoke with Keith at FuelMoto this morning. He suggested I increase column "0" at the 750, 1000, 1250 rpm settings by +5. Mine were all set to "0" so I set them on both cylinders to "5". I also took the opportunity to update the firmware with the download Keith sent me. I just took it for a ride and then let it idle in the garage till EITMS kicked in and much to my surprise it came off of EITMS just like it did before the PCV was installed. I blipped it and it transitioned smoothly. How do you like that? I'm going for an extended ride on Saturday where it will be undoubtedly broiling so I'll see how it does but all is great right now

under warranty, you can have it turned on once, and if you don't like it, turned off once.

was eitms an option on those bikes? i thought it was new for 2007 and the 96" engine?

This is exactly my experience. When I installed the autotune, I increase the idle setting to get the AFR to 14 (in effect doing what you desscribe above). I think I added +3 and +4. I have never had the EITMS stumble with my bike. I also have put the updated firmware in. No issues.

Just wanted to confirm that in today's 100F+ temps the EITMS worked flawlessly. I would even say that the transition now is even smoother than what it was stock!
