Default clutch cable question

When I replace the cable should I put some locktite on the cable end where it screws into the tranny cover...??? '07 FLHX

I think (it's been a while) my cable came with the loctite paste already on it in the package. Prob not necessary, but a little blue never hurts.

I just replaced mine this winter, I didnt use any. If I remember right it really cant come loose since it is fixed to the cable the whole cable would have to twist in order for it to come out. Someone correct me if I am wrong
