I gotta agree with the others, I just check mine when I stop somewhere, but it is the first thing I do.

That's funny. My Dad always threatens that he is going to buy one of those cell signal blockers for their house.

I just check mine when I get where I'm going or take a brake. If my phone KEEPS ringing I'll find a spot to stop and check it because it could be an emergency or change of plans.

I agree, the purpose of riding is to get away from cell phones, computers, etc. If you have to take all that with you, you have no "Freedom of the road".Put it in your pocket and when you stop check your messages then.

I absolutely agree. I have no desire to talk and ride, and I don't think it's safe. But I'm always on call and need to respond if there's ever an emergency situation at work. So I just pair the phone to the Zumo. If someone calls it flashes their name and number on the screen. If it's important I pull over and call them back. If it can wait, I call them at the next stop or when I get home, no biggie.

Hmmm. I guess I'm just "lower on the totem pole" than the rest of you! I don't have the luxury of "screw the cell phone". That's the reason work provides my cell phone. I used an Intcom headset by BlueAnt. It worked ok for a year and a half or so. I'm looking for something a little better. HD makes a bluetooth headset now, but I think you can get one for about half the money anywhere else.

It must be nice to say "it's not safe" or " I just don't answer it", or whatever, but that doesn't really answer the original question, does it? Not saying it's right ... it just ... IS.
