Default Help: finding different lowering air shocks

I have decided to go with low profile air shocks to lower my 2008 Electra Glide. The question now to all of ya'll is which do you recommend. I want to lower 1 to 1.5 inches. Some advertise lower but i think that is all I want.

Two purposes; looks and so I can get my feet more solidly on the ground.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated especially ya'll that have experience doing this.

Thanks

1 or 1 1/2 inch will not look all that different but with this will do the trick

Thanks I spent about an hour today with the techs at Strokers here in Dallas and ruled out a lowering kit but the options for shocks are hard to distinguish. I appreciate the input and will check out the site right now.

Thanks

I also have the Arnott system. Get a 12 in shock and ride 1 inch lowered. You can still slam it when in sand, gravel or to get better footing to back up. I can ride high or low or anywhere in between. Buy it and put it on yourself. Great product.

If lowering the rear by an inch or more, shouldn't you lower the front also so as not to change the steering geometry?

Ohlins model# HD538, HD539 and HD540 shocks are 1 3/8" lower than stock and should provide a much better ride than an air setup.
