Engine light goes on/off

Engine light goes on/off

I just finished installing my new exhaust, A/C and PCIII, Road about 100 miles today and noticed when I start the bike the engine light will go out for second, then come back on for about 5 seconds, then goes off and stays off. Is this being caused by the PCIII?

It has to be something with the PCIII, it never did it before the mods. Just makes me wonder, are the mods worth the worry now?

My light comes on every now and then,sometimes stays on for 5-10 min,and sometimes only for a min,I talked to the dealer and,they said it happens to alot of bikes,a clich,not to worry,I said ok I guess,but it has done this for about 3 yrs,it will go 2-3 mo before doing it.sometimes longer....wierd

The only thing I could think of is just make sure everything is plugged in completely so it's not a loose connection issue. I also have a PCIII and have never had this issue that you guy's do.

If the light comes on the second time for 4 sec's and then goes out that's a historic code. If it comes on the second time and stays on that's a current code.
